On March 25, 2021, the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science (IRAS) hosted a webinar on the important topic, “The Vital Breath: Saving Our Sacred Rainforests” featuring principal speakers Audrey Kitagawa and Dr. Charles McNeil, to raise awareness of the destruction of the rainforests, the consequences of continuing on the current path, and the connection between the preservation of the rainforests and the survival of the human species. The discussion included respondent Tariq Mustafa and moderator Dr. Ron Cole-Turner and a video featuring Jane Goodall.
