Audrey Kitagawa, accompanied by Dr. Mutombo Nkulu-N'Sengha, visited Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Kamina in the Democratic Republic of Congo, September 9-18, 2012. They were formally welcomed by dignitaries who provided escort to schools, universities, an orphanage and a hospital. Cultural festivities marked the arrival of Audrey Kitagawa who relayed messages of love, shared donations of medicines and medical supplies, and held numerous meetings with village chiefs, officials and local people. Dr. Nkulu-N'Sengha, who grew up in Kamina and visited the DRC regularly to provide humanitarian aid, was instrumental facilitating these activities.
